NOTE: This is a piece that I wrote for "Spiritus," the newsletter for St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Hurst, TX, where I assist. St. Stephen's is among the congregations that became divided when a good portion of the members decided to vacate the Episcopal Church. In an effort to actually make myself delve deeper into the meaning of my Daily Prayers, I am going to start writing my ideas down in response to the daily Scripture and the studies of the Saints, if any for that day. I feel it will definately prove fruitful to my ministry and help give me a constant reminder on a daily basis. And it may prove to be a help to others as well. Please pray for my motivation as I answer God's urges to experience a deeper, more fullfilling immersion of meditation.
